PDMA has advised residents to remain cautious and immediately report any signs of damage or unusual ground movement to the 1129 helpline.

🔍 Lahore Earthquake Tremors: Recent Seismic Activity in Pakistan

Pakistan has seen a string of low to moderate earthquakes recently:

  • June 30: 3.9-magnitude quake near Dera Ghazi Khan; 4.8-magnitude quake near Zhob, Balochistan.

  • Sunday: 5.5-magnitude earthquake in Musakhail, Balochistan injured five and damaged dozens of mud houses.

  • Karachi & Pasni: Low-intensity tremors were recorded last week.

Experts attribute this frequent seismic activity to Pakistan’s location on the boundary where the Indian and Eurasian tectonic plates meet — making the region naturally prone to earthquakes.

📌 Stay Alert, Stay Safe

Residents are urged to stay informed about Lahore earthquake tremors, follow PDMA guidelines, and ensure their homes and workplaces are structurally sound.
