Over 58,000 Apply for Hajj 2026 Pakistan Quota
The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced that more than 58,000 citizens have already submitted their applications for the Hajj 2026 Pakistan quota. To accommodate the overwhelming response, 14 designated banks will remain open on Saturday, August 9, ensuring that prospective pilgrims have every opportunity to complete their applications before the first installment deadline.

For the upcoming Hajj season, Saudi Arabia has allocated a total of 179,210 seats for Pakistan. Of this, 129,210 seats fall under the government scheme, while the remaining 50,000 are reserved for private Hajj operators.

Government and Private Hajj 2026 Pakistan Packages
The government is offering two main options for Hajj 2026 Pakistan:

Long Package: 38–42 days stay in Saudi Arabia

Short Package: 20–25 days stay

The cost for these packages ranges between Rs1.15 million and Rs1.25 million (approximately $4,050–$4,236). These packages include airfare, accommodation in Makkah and Madinah, transport, and other essential services.

Private Hajj operators are also offering customized packages, some with upgraded accommodation and transport facilities. However, applicants choosing private packages must ensure their operator is licensed by the Ministry to avoid potential scams.

How to Apply for Hajj 2026 Pakistan
Applications for Hajj 2026 Pakistan are being accepted in two ways:

Online Application: Through the official Ministry of Religious Affairs portal.

Offline Submission: Via the 14 designated banks authorized by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).

Registrations are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. The first installment must be deposited at the time of application submission, while the second installment will be collected in November 2025.

Lessons from Hajj 2025 Pakistan
In Hajj 2025, Pakistan was granted the same quota of 179,210 pilgrims. While the government successfully sent over 88,000 pilgrims under its scheme, a significant number of private sector seats went unused. This was largely due to delays in payment processing, incomplete registrations, and communication issues with private tour operators.

To prevent similar issues in 2026, the Ministry has implemented stricter monitoring of private Hajj companies and improved the payment process for applicants.

Tips for Successful Hajj 2026 Pakistan Registration
Apply early: Seats are limited and high demand can close applications sooner than expected.

Check documentation: Ensure your passport is valid for at least 8 months from the Hajj departure date.

Be wary of fraud: Only deal with authorized Hajj operators.

Track announcements: Stay updated via the Ministry’s official website and social media channels.
