Islamabad United move for new fast bowling option
Islamabad United are likely to sign Zimbabwe international fast bowler Blessing Muzarabani ahead of the 2026 Pakistan Super League (PSL 11).
The move is expected after the franchise mutually parted ways with West Indies pacer Shamar Joseph, who was picked at his base price of Rs. 1.10 crore during the PSL 11 auction.
Why Islamabad United want Blessing Muzarabani
Muzarabani brings height, bounce, and international experience to Islamabad United’s pace attack. The 29-year-old has previously played in the PSL and was part of Islamabad United’s title-winning squad in 2021, making him a familiar and reliable option.
His recent performances at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup have further strengthened his case, where he delivered match-winning spells against top opposition.

Islamabad United fast bowling strength for PSL 11
Islamabad United have invested heavily in pace for PSL 11. Their fast-bowling lineup already includes:

The addition of Muzarabani would add variety and depth to an already strong bowling unit.
