🚢 Pakistan Navy Gets Royal Marines Hovercraft from UK
LONDON — The Pakistan Navy hovercraft fleet has officially expanded with the delivery of three refurbished Royal Marines LCAC(L) hovercraft from the United Kingdom. The upgrade is expected to boost Pakistan’s maritime security, amphibious operations, and coastal patrol capabilities.
⚙️ Pakistan Navy Hovercraft Support & Upgrades
Originally retired in 2021, these Royal Marines hovercraft have been fully overhauled by Griffon Marine Support, under the guidance of the UK’s Defence Equipment and Support (DE&S) division.
The package includes:
3 fully refurbished hovercraft
Spare parts
Long-term support and maintenance services
The enhancements will enable the Pakistan Navy hovercraft to operate in challenging coastal zones and contribute to emergency relief and humanitarian missions.
