Quetta People’s Train is officially set to begin operations, aiming to transform daily transport for residents of the Balochistan capital. The project was announced by Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, who said the initiative will provide a much-needed solution to Quetta’s growing traffic and transport challenges.

The Quetta People’s Train will operate between Kuchlak and Sheikh Zayed Hospital, making daily travel easier and more affordable for thousands of commuters. Designed to reduce traffic and save time, the service will run multiple times a day to accommodate working professionals, students, and hospital visitors.

He also mentioned that this is just the first phase in a series of urban transport upgrades planned for Quetta.
