Sindh Business One Stop Shop Full Rollout Set for April 2026
The Sindh Business One Stop Shop (SBOSS) platform will achieve full rollout and integration by April 2026, according to Sindh Chief Minister’s Special Assistant Shujauddin Qureshi. The digital initiative is undergoing comprehensive enhancements to improve functionality, resolve earlier technical challenges, and ensure smooth onboarding for all participating government departments.

Speaking to WealthPK, Qureshi explained that the phased rollout will allow each department to transition into the SBOSS ecosystem without disruption. “This approach ensures efficiency, user-friendliness, and the long-term sustainability of the system,” he said.

Digital Transformation for Business Registration and Licensing
Launched by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, the Sindh Business One Stop Shop is an innovative platform aimed at revolutionising how businesses register and acquire licenses in the province. Integrated with national databases and supported by blockchain technology, SBOSS provides a secure and transparent environment for entrepreneurs.

The platform was developed under the Competitive and Livable City of Karachi (CLICK) project with financial backing from the World Bank. It currently offers 32 e-licensing services across nine departments, with expansion plans to include over 130 services from 16 departments.

Legal Reforms and Regulatory Modernisation
To fully support SBOSS operations, the Sindh government has proposed over 250 legal amendments. These reforms aim to modernise the province’s regulatory framework, fully integrate online applications, and enable secure e-payment functionalities.

The Sindh cabinet approved the establishment of the Sindh Investment Authority in May 2024 to oversee SBOSS operations and drive continuous reform.

Stakeholder Engagement and Integration with PBOSS
Throughout its development, the Sindh Business One Stop Shop has been shaped by feedback from entrepreneurs, chambers of commerce, startup communities, and private sector representatives. This stakeholder engagement ensures the platform evolves in line with user needs.

Future plans include integration with the Pakistan Business One Stop Shop (PBOSS), enabling real-time data sharing between federal and provincial authorities for a truly unified business facilitation process.

Future Roadmap for SBOSS

  • Full Rollout Date: April 2026
  • Current Services: 32 e-licensing options across nine departments
  • Future Services: Over 130 from 16 departments
  • Upcoming Additions: Provincial business facilitation centres, 24/7 digital contact centre

By consolidating services into a single digital gateway, the Sindh Business One Stop Shop will reduce paperwork, eliminate the need for multiple office visits, and cut regulatory delays — creating a faster, more transparent environment for investors and small businesses alike.
