\nThe federal government has launched a comprehensive review of IT-based recruitment applications and software currently in use by ministries and divisions across Pakistan, aiming to bring greater efficiency, transparency, and consistency to the hiring process.<\/p>\n
According to an official directive issued by the Establishment Division, all federal ministries, attached departments, and subordinate offices have been instructed to submit detailed data on their use of digital platforms for recruitment. This includes both in-house developed systems and third-party software.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe objective is to assess how effectively these tools manage large volumes of job applications and whether they align with the government\u2019s commitment to merit and transparency,\u201d an official source stated.<\/p>\n
The government intends to analyze this data as part of a broader plan to possibly introduce centralized guidelines or even a unified digital recruitment system across federal departments. Such a platform could serve as a model for provincial governments and autonomous bodies, promoting best practices in public sector HR management.<\/p>\n
A Step Toward E-Governance<\/p>\n
This initiative is seen as part of the federal government\u2019s ongoing push toward digital transformation and e-governance. Officials say the use of disparate recruitment systems across departments has led to inefficiencies, inconsistent applicant experiences, and increased administrative burdens.<\/p>\n
