ISLAMABAD<\/strong> \u2014 The federal government has announced another Pakistan fuel price hike<\/strong>, increasing petrol, diesel, and domestic gas rates \u2014 a move that will add further strain on already inflation-weary citizens.<\/p>\n According to an official Finance Division<\/strong> notification issued late Monday night, the prices have gone up as follows:<\/p>\n Petrol:<\/strong> up by Rs8.36 per litre<\/strong>, from Rs258.43 to Rs266.79<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n High-Speed Diesel (HSD):<\/strong> up by Rs10.39 per litre<\/strong>, from Rs262.59 to Rs272.98<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n The new rates took effect immediately from July 1<\/strong>, based on the latest recommendations from the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA)<\/strong> and relevant ministries.<\/p>\n The government cited volatile international oil markets<\/strong> and fluctuations in the local currency as the main reasons behind this latest Pakistan fuel price hike<\/strong>.
