This marks a significant step toward sustainable public transportation, aiming to reduce emissions, cut fuel dependency, and modernize the transport network.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Districts Covered in First Phase<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to the Punjab Transport Company, the first phase of the project will operate in:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mianwali<\/li>\n<li>Sargodha<\/li>\n<li>Muzaffargarh<\/li>\n<li>Wazirabad<\/li>\n<li>Faisalabad<\/li>\n<li>Pakpattan<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The selection of these districts is based on population density, transport demand, and air quality challenges.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sargodha to Receive the Largest Fleet<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Among the six districts, Sargodha will lead with 48 electric buses, the highest allocation in the first phase. Each tehsil within Sargodha will operate 8\u20139 buses, ensuring widespread access for residents across urban and semi-urban regions.<\/p>\n<p>Officials confirmed that operations in Sargodha will begin soon after the completion of route testing and the installation of charging stations.
